Review: 

This book was sooooo good you guys. Easily the best Lenora Bell book yet. I knew I was going to love it from the moment India and Raven appeared in the first School for Dukes book, and I was right. I literally binge-read this. Did the first 80% in an evening. I couldn't put it down!

The good: The chemistry between these two is incredible, but also complex. It's not straight "I loathe you, I want you", there are nuances that I haven't necessarily seen in similar plots.
The main characters were fun, exciting to read about, kept things chugging along nicely.

The Not-Quite: The ending. I won't spoil anything, but I will say there were things left hanging, but it could very well be resolved in the next book.

Over all, five shiny gold stars and a huge high five to Miss Bell.

Y'all ready for this?  I first heard about this rather ludicrous series at the "Bananas Books" panel hosted by Sarah MacLean and Sophie Jordan at this year's KissCon (which just wrapped in Chicago two weeks ago and guys, it was amazing, I'll tell you about it later.) One of the series someone brought up was the Ice Planet Barbarians series by Ruby Dixon. I'd never heard of it before. Frankly, the covers are amaze-bad. The basic premise of the series is this: A bunch of (gorgeous, thin, supermodel-esque) women all get abducted by aliens (???) and somehow (I don't know, I only read book 7) end up on this Hoth-like ice planet that is also inhabited by a race of caveman-like blue humanoid aliens who also have giant devil horns, and basically look like steroid-ridden cave men with giant blue dicks. Things to Read During Quarantine

Hiya, it's WhaleSnark!      Here are things I have been reading and doing during my Work From Home life. I love the horror graphic novels of Emily Carroll. She is a brilliant storyteller and artist. She wrote Through the Woods, which has a very limited color scheme that really adds to the drama of her work. Right now, several of her works are available on GumRoad, a website that caters to small independent artists getting their work out into the world. WhaleSnark Recommends....Music in French

Do you enjoy music? Right, yeah, that's a broad question...hmmm... Do you like French electro and pretty music?!?! Yeah? Okay! Have some recommendations from me, a well-versed-in-French-music whale shark. First, oh my goodness, Stromae, my absolute favourite French-speaking artist ever (besides Daft Punk, let's be real). Stromae is Belgian. He's an androgynous genius. He writes music that is just OH GOOD GOODNESS. So good. He's only released one song in the last five years, BUT in 2013 he released 'Racine Carrée', which is a highly enjoyable album. His other older album 'Cheese' is also super cool! I am a huge fan of synth and smooth voice, which Stromae has. He's pretty great.        OK, I listen to a lot of French music. I love the language. It has hidden syllables everywhere. You never know how they spell things and even when you do, you just kind of go, "welp, I bet that's a silent vowel", and you would be very correct mos...
